Ron Herman has been appointed to serve on the Board of Directors for the Jewish Lawyers Association of Palm Beach County (JLA), a group of dedicated attorneys who stand united in their commitment to the legal profession and the preservation of their shared Jewish heritage. The inaugural Board was sworn in by Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Carlos Muñiz, at a standing-room only ceremony in downtown West Palm Beach. CBS 12 News covered the Opening Event: “Palm Beach County lawyers form group to combat antisemitism.”
Ron joins the Board under the leadership of President and Founding Member Gary Lesser, alongside other esteemed officers and directors including Matthew Zimmerman, Arlene Kline, Michelle Suskauer, Andrew Comiter, Ellen Leibovitch, Alicia Gross, Jim Baldinger, Ilan Kaufer, Allison Oasis Kahn, Robin Bresky, Brian Seymour, Genny Bernstein, Tracy Gerber, Rikki Lober Bagatell, and Harrison DuBosar. Together, the Board works to advance the mission of the JLA, building a platform for Jewish attorneys and their allies to stand together in support of justice, compassion, and tolerance.
JLA offers various membership levels tailored for everyone—from newer lawyers and government/nonprofit attorneys to general and founding members. Judges and law students are extended complimentary memberships. Membership is not limited to Jewish lawyers, with friends and allies who share the JLA vision invited to join. Together, we stand united in our commitment to compassion and the pursuit of a more just and tolerant world.
